Photos taken yesterday. (09/06) I am no Dragonfly expert but I am reliably informed that this is a teneral Southern Migrant Hawker. Found in The Elms at Sandwich Bay, Kent. (correction from an earlier post)
Just reading a report from Toronto (my old stomping ground) re the annual Whimbrel migration during May and I quote for this year:
between May 20th and May 28th, 5954 Hudsonian Whimbrels passed by Whimbrel Point on their way to their breeding grounds on the Arctic Tundra,
@katemacrae Apples usually need another apple for pollination. If there isn't another close by you may need to plant a second. Just trying to be helpful!!
