The increases in Africa will push us to 11 Billion - but this is while every other continent is in decline

@elonmusk @historydefined Check the stats both parents working dropped families from 6 to 1.7 in every country where this started. If this is the whole problem a UBI would give parents the chance to be at home with their children - so yes, I think it could make a difference.

@elonmusk @historydefined It would definitely help people to afford to have a family. I'm not sure whether this would be sufficient in itself to change peoples expectations, hopes and desires. I've known about this population collapse for decades - glad it is finally getting talked about.

@innov8ion Are you offering free food? Glad I'm not a farmer. A higher GST or VAT tax would afford a UBI that doesn't tax workers.

@elonmusk @pmarca I've heard it argued that because of our participation we have helped create the AI (which is in the process of making us unemployed), profits of this should fund a Universal Basic Income. VAT is better though!
