An ample supply of a covid vaccine could become a coin of geopolitical power, as oil and nuclear weapons are now. Governments will be counting on it to allow them to reopen economies and assure political stability.Alliances are already shifting #politvirus https://t.co/KYi295Xuce
What kind of humans are those? I can’t focus on the public health message. I just keep wondering: WHAT KIND OF TROUSERS ARE THESE GUYS WEARING AND WHY!?
The Swedish obsession with gender neutrality has finally reached a perverted level!
.@WHO is launching a new #WearAMask challenge!
By wearing a mask, you are sending a message of solidarity and protecting other people, especially those most vulnerable to #COVID19.
Take a photo or a video of yourself wearing a mask, share it and nominate friends to do the same ⬇️
"It is deeply unhelpful and counterproductive for the @WHO to become a forum for political point scoring by member states in the pursuit of narrow national interests": Gro Brundtland in @kyodo_english calls for multilateral cooperation to tackle #COVID19. https://t.co/wa0dqSioI9
We are hiring! Scientist position on research/evidence with WHO climate change and health unit, Geneva. Application deadline 1st September. https://t.co/RBHGHvjgqP
Mythbusters from @WHO is a great resource (with fun graphics!) to share with anyone in your life who’s still anti-mask, pro-hydroxychloroquine, believes heat kills #covid19 and more: https://t.co/vKNwqGoGIv
Way beyond acceptable - @GlobalHealthAct we have a clear policy of rejecting field studies that do not include national scientists and institutions. Time this became normal in scientific publishing.
This is outrageous - an RCT cutting off water to tenants in Nairobi "slums" to see if it induces their landlords to pay the utility bill. And reading the paper just makes it worse.

@harphat Some market leaders such as @yourMHA have had regular staff and residents testing in place for some time. Why it hasn't become a requirement across the whole sector is strange.
Huge thanks to @WHO VA reference group for its solid and steady contributions. #CRVS and VA are a priority. We need to simplify, standardize, and scale application in countries with speed. Thanks @sinafala for your expertise.
.@WHO released USD 2.2 million from the Contingency Fund for Emergencies (CFE) to support the immediate response in #Beirut.
We are grateful to all our CFE contributors who allow us to save lives through rapid responses to health emergencies. https://t.co/0TLshxQ6yM
@iruka_okeke@UniIbadan The point is does @UniIbadan have a quality M in GH programme to offer Nigerians, and anyone else, on same basis as any other UniIbadan Master programme, and if not why not? Surely that's best way of levelling up globally?

It baffles me that some people think that we can't abhor & fight racism & other injustice simultaneously. It's not the discrimination Olympics. There doesn't have to be only one winner. I see the plight of working class white boys & I fight for them too. Common enemy? Priviledge
