South Africa’s @GovernmentZA would rather keep its people in the digital dark ages than allow @Starlink to operate without bowing to its outdated, corrupt, and economically destructive BBBEE laws.

While the rest of the world embraces innovation, South Africa continues to sabotage itself with race-based policies that prioritize political control over real progress.

@elonmusk's Starlink could revolutionize internet access, especially in rural areas where the @MYANC has failed to deliver connectivity for decades.

But instead of welcoming this game-changing technology, the government blocks it because Musk refuses to hand over equity to politically connected elites under the guise of ‘transformation.’

BBBEE isn’t about empowerment anymore, infact IT NEVER WAS - it’s about enriching a small, corrupt ruling class while keeping ordinary South Africans poor and dependent.

If Starlink were forced to comply, it wouldn't benefit the people; it would just create another tenderpreneur feeding frenzy.

Meanwhile, other African nations are moving forward while South Africa remains stuck in the past, choosing ideological gatekeeping over economic reality.

How much longer must South Africans suffer under failing policies that punish success and chase away investment?

BBBEE isn’t lifting the poor - it’s keeping them there.
