"Life ought to work differently."

You know what? It doesn't. Life is unfair.

Deal with the world the way it is, not the way you wish it were.

As an investor this is especially dangerous.

The moment you start making decisions based on how the world ought to behave, you're going to lose money.

Now the clock gets reset to Sep. He gets $0 till he shows up, so the team has no incentive to do anything in his best interest.
