Last night I find the pavement blocked by an ancient olive tree. Ripped (illegally?) from a Mediterranean hillside, crudely pollarded, and bonside; it now sits abandoned outside a house recently sold for £1.6m. Illegally imported to UK post #xylella ban on olives?

Sad to say that my year as Trainee Forester on the Chatsworth Estate has come to an end but happy to announce that from next week, I am being promoted to Assistant Forester!! Feel very lucky to be able to continue working on such a beautiful estate with such an awesome team 👊🌳
