But people I do follow do care. They are indie artists, developers, and designers who want a place to show their projects without all the noise

Twitter Blue for people who don't care about edit buttons, verification, or posting long videos will be to avoid impediments that they'll add just to remove. There will be no reason to stay if it becomes a chore to find the content I want from users who aren't verified themselves

This way it can mimick the sprawling chaos of coral reefs
