@PeterObi If these people finally succeed in frustrating million of Nigerians to make an informed chioce of who becomes our president come year, we shall all go through these together. Infact, they would suffer more.
@ChuksEricE But what should a sitting President, having almost governors, federal might be afraid of an ordinary Nigeria who wants to exercise his own right to contest? This shows that he knows he's failed.

@InibeheEffiong@AfamDeluxo Please, remember that the Creator Himself has advised that you look unto Jesus who's the author of your life. So, when you begin to look unto man you're already working against divine instructions. Also, remember that you've no excuse. Be encouraged!
Edo State is trending because again, the Governor, Monday Okpebholo has threatened insecurity, but this time at Peter Obi.
Apparently, the he is furious at Obi for giving a ₦15M grant to a nursing college in Benin, two weeks ago.
In this viral video, the governor said Peter Obi claims he doesn’t have shi shi, but goes around giving ₦15M to schools.
So, he dares not come back to Edo State without his permission, otherwise anything he sees, he should take it.
Monday Okpebholo didn’t directly mention Peter Obi but his sub was certainly delivered, as Obi is the only public person to have recently donated ₦15M to a school in the state.
Obi donated ₦15M to Philomena College of Nursing Sciences in Benin City on July 7th. It wasn’t the first time he’s donating to that particular institution.
So, Obidient are urging Peter Obi to be brave, visit the state and see what happens.
Okpebholo joins Benue Governor in openly blocking Obi from visiting their states.

Our attention has been drawn to the disturbing threat to life made by one Monday Okpebholo from Edo State, a dullard who can’t even speak good English. Even a mad man knows when it’s raining. He should be warned.

Nigeria is not a monarchy. No governor is a warlord. And certainly, no state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a private estate.
I have just watched the disturbing and disgraceful comments made by the governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, openly threatening Mr. Peter Obi for visiting Edo State and donating N15 million to a nursing school. According to reports, the governor went as far as to say that Mr. Peter Obi should not come to Edo without his permission as his security will not be guaranteed.
Let me say this as clearly and respectfully as possible: Who gave you that authority, sir?
Your threats are not only laughable, they are unconstitutional, anti-democratic, and reveal the dangerous mindset of those who rose to power not through the ballot of the people but through the machinery of electoral manipulation.
This is exactly what happens when elections are rigged. Instead of leaders, we get emperors. Instead of public servants, we get public threats. Instead of governance, we get gangsterism.
Mr @PeterObi is a citizen of Nigeria. He owes no governor permission to move freely within his country, especially not when his visit is to support the health and education of our young people, things you should have been doing as governor. If anything, you should have welcomed him, applauded him, and maybe even taken notes.
But when you are installed by the will of crookedness instead of the will of the people, the presence of true leaders will always feel like a threat. Because light makes darkness uncomfortable.
Let me also warn, and I say this with all sense of responsibility, that no governor, no matter how desperate, must think they can silence or intimidate Nigerians. That era is gone. You can not threaten a nation awake.
Mr. @PeterObi represents hope for millions of Nigerians who are tired of politics without conscience. Any attempt to harass, restrict, or vilify him is an attack not just on him but on our democracy, and we will resist it.
Edo is not under siege. Edo is not under a dictator. Edo is part of the sovereign Republic of Nigeria. And Mr Peter Obi, or any Nigerian, has every right to go there and support progress.
To Governor Okpebholo, I say, You were selected to serve, not to bark threats at citizens. Nigeria belongs to all of us, not just to those who found their way to office by the manipulation of INEC or the might of godfathers.
Nigeria must rise. And we will.

This man ran to the north to beg them for the killings in Edo State but has the effontery to make such crass and silliness to Mr Peter Obi.
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo please stop talking you should allow educated people to talk. Illiterate..
When I first saw the video clip of Governor Monday Okpebholo threatening Mr. Peter Obi not to enter Edo State without his “permission”, I genuinely thought it was fake — perhaps one of those AI-generated videos or a poorly written skit.
But it’s now clear it wasn’t fake. The Governor hasn’t denied it, no spokesperson has disowned it, and it’s been reported on credible news platforms. So, we must assume it was real — and that’s deeply troubling.
Edo people are known for being warm, open, and hospitable. We welcome visitors. We don’t chase them away — much less someone like Mr. Obi who came to make a modest, generous contribution by donating ₦15 million to an educational institution in our state.
Let’s be clear: Mr. Peter Obi does not need anyone’s permission to visit Edo State or any other State for that matter. Not now, not ever.
Perhaps Governor Okpebholo should focus more on governing in a way that earns him the kind of love and connection that Peter Obi enjoys amongst the people — the way Mr. Obi has consistently done through his exemplary leadership.
That this ill-judged threat came on the eve of Mr. Obi’s birthday — a day Obidients across the country are marking the occasion by giving back through acts of service — only highlights the Governor’s poor sense of judgement and timing.
On that note, Happy 64th Birthday to @PeterObi — a man whose leadership inspires millions, and whose presence in Edo will always be welcome, regardless of the threats from those who see your impact as a challenge to their own inadequacies.
Let me explain to you what these barbaric savages did in Benue state. For those who haven’t seen the video (maybe because it was too traumatic for you).
Let me break it down for you:
According to eyewitnesses;
Around 10:45pm on Friday night,
A group of terrorist animalistic vermins invaded Yelewata village. They divided themselves into two groups:
One group went to the police station and engaged the police in a fire exchange. The aim of this group is to keep the police engaged so the police won’t go into the village to protect the people.
The other group now marched into the village and started going from house to house with petrol and weapons. They sliced and matcheted people then doused them with petrol and burnt them to ashes. They this to almost a 100 houses and killed over 200 people in this manner. This was done for 3hours from 11pm to 2am. The only reason the massacre was not far worse and did not go on for longer was the brave youths in the village who repelled and resisted these barbaric inhuman animals.
Children. Women. Men. Grandmothers.
Attacked in their sleep. Sliced like animals. Burnt to unrecognisable ashes. It was a brutal carnage and a violent bloodbath.
This is what happened to the Benue people. And for 48 hours, the unfortunate incompetent nincompoop president of Nigeria said absolutely nothing until there was collective national outrage online led largely by many of us here.
The Pope spoke before that fool in Aso Rock said anything. A lawmaker in the USA tweeted about the matter before Tinubu said anything. VDM flew to Benue and till now, Tinubu has not yet visited.
What kind of country with a heartless brainless soulless president is this? And when he finally speaks on the matter, he tells the governor to organise “dialogue and reconciliation”????
Dialogue and reconciliation with who?
How do you reconcile with faceless terrorist landgrabbers and godless verminous savages who invade your land at night slicin your throat in your sleep and burning you to crumbling ashes? How do you reconcile with that?
If you have no idea what happened in Benue state, this is actually the story of it as narrated by eye witnesses in the video.
I have no words but tears for Benue.
Please 🙏🏿 I beg you all let us lend our voice for Benue. Let us all speak up for them.
The media is corrupt and compromised.
The politicians are nonchalant and simply don’t care. The religious elite are not bothered as long as it doesn’t affect their tithes. That useless shameless organisation called CAN (of worms) has said absolutely nothing since yesterday. My point in all of this is that Benue has nobody to speak for them or fight for them apart from us.
If we don’t speak, that state will be wiped out. I beg you all again please 🙏🏿 let us lend our voice for Benue. Let us all speak up for them.
Today it is Benue. Tomorrow it may be you.
Please share this tweet everywhere. Use the hashtag. Create awareness. Please 🙏🏿
