We're pleased to see veterinary expertise represented on the new Welsh #BovineTB advisory group, with BVA Welsh Branch President @drgwenrees & past president @LloydIfan on the panel.

Collaborative work between vets, farmers & govt is crucial to tackling this devastating disease

Congratulations to Collin Wilson, SVP of @BritishVets Welsh Branch, who receives an OBE in the New Year Honours for services to Animal Welfare & Public Health in the meat industry. Collin has a long string of achievements but his work on welfare at slaughter has been pivotal.

#TeamVet From 13 December, UK producers sending animals or animal products to the EU must be able to demonstrate that a vet visit has taken place in the last 12 months.

We've collated resources and guidance to help you prepare for this new regulation ⬇️ https://t.co/iDl7TI8nAY

Nearly #Halloween! #Pumpkins can only be fed to livestock, including #Pigs, if they have NEVER entered a kitchen & the carving utensils have never been in contact with products of animal origin. This is to help prevent diseases like #AfricanSwineFever. https://t.co/jp9l7qm6mz
