Frame 1: Passed my ISC2 CC Exam
Frame 2: Completed Junior Cyber Security Analyst Career Path offered by @CiscoNetAcad
Though it has been a tough ride ever since I started my Cybersecurity Career late last year (2023)
I believe in a promising future.

Saw my first semester results today and boy does academic validation feel good🫢🤭
Y’all never told me this is what it means to be on first class/distinction—whatever it is called 😌😂
Now one more W this week. Let us close out August with a bang Ya Rabbi🤲🏻🧎🏼♂️

Cute theory, let's play it out.
A monkey hoards a trillion bananas. The troop, enraged, beats him to death. They gather around the pile to feast at last.
But... oh wait, there is no pile.
It turns out the "bananas" were shares in a banana-launching company the dead monkey founded.
The shares were worth a trillion because he was alive to run it.
Now he is dead and the stock is worth $0.
The retarded monkeys have clubbed their way into a recession.
But it gets worse.
Half the "bananas" were tied up in a rocket that supplies bananas to monkeys on the far mountain who had no bananas at all.
Another chunk was tied up in a little satellite dish that beamed banana coordinates to the troop after a flood took out their trees.
So now they realized they beat to death the only monkey who knew how the dish worked.
So the monkeys sit there.
No bananas.
No rockets.
No coordinates to get more banananas.
Just a dead body and a powerful sense of fairness as they all now became infinitely poorer.
OH
And somewhere a smaller monkey watches the whole thing and quietly decides he will never build anything in front of these animals again.

Those failed by the system need support.
This is civil society in practice.

If you’re monitoring a network, watch for these two:
Event ID 1102: This is generated the moment someone clears the Security log. It even records the Username of who did it.
Event ID 104: Someone cleared the System log.
Do you know that trying to "erase the tapes" in Windows actually leaves a massive fingerprint? 🕵️♂️
Hackers clear Event Logs to hide their tracks, but they often forget one thing: the second they hit "clear," Windows immediately writes a new event to tell on them.
Windows Defense Evasion via Event Log Clearing
Hackers exploit Windows logging behavior by clearing specific event logs after performing suspicious activity. Windows records authentication events, privilege escalation attempts, service changes, and many other indicators inside the Security, System, and Application logs. If attackers can erase those records, investigators lose the most direct evidence of what happened on the machine. Because of this, log tampering is often one of the last steps attackers attempt after gaining elevated access.
In the image below, I show how a compromised user with administrative privileges inspects Windows event logs and then clears them using built-in tools. I first list the available logs to confirm their presence and size. After verifying that logs exist, I execute the command used to clear the Security log. This action is recorded by Windows itself, which ironically becomes one of the strongest indicators that tampering occurred.
Happy Birthday Dr. Iretioluwa 🥂
