@midpushMike@ericscho@clashreport If I called in sick I might come back to work tomorrow. If I go to see a doctor the certificate will atleast give me 3 days of sick leave. Most times even 5 days. So where is the net gain again?
@BillyBilliams69@CanMNTonly The reason for the VAR is exactly to correct decision the ref didn´t see or didn´t rule right. VAR always used still and slow motion images. Didn´t help to appeal a decision before because thats exactly how it´s supposed to work
@txtiger1@Simontimofish@NickAdamsinUSA I think I misunderstood your "why are you complaining". I thought you meant it about holding the world cup in the US indefinitely because it's so great
@txtiger1@Simontimofish@NickAdamsinUSA Okay, maybe I phrased it wrong. Yes, they have fun with the american things but they would also find things to do when the world cup is in spain, brazil, germany or where ever. So that that is no reason the US should the only host indefinitely.
I really don’t like the Wenger offside rule. Beyond the obvious fact that it would kill the high line, this is in no way a step toward making football more attacking, as some people claim. If anything, it would make the game more defensive and reduce the number of goals.
No team would dare play a high line anymore. Teams that use a high block would drop into a mid-block, mid-block teams would sink into low blocks, and that would mean far less space than we’re used to. Fewer open games, and obviously fewer goals. In my opinion, it would just make football more boring.
@BeenFarming @bob6kallday@RJSWtrilogyWhen@OhioMatticus@esjesjesj stand a chance of overthrowing the government with their weapons if the military opposed them the military is just too well equipped.
Regarding the point about keeping the government honest. 2/2
@BeenFarming @bob6kallday@RJSWtrilogyWhen@OhioMatticus@esjesjesj Ah, I get what you mean now. Yes, of course the military would eventually resist killing or oppressing its own people but wouldn’t they do that even if civilians weren’t heavily armed? My original point was meant to go the other way. I phrased it badly. Civilians wouldn’t 1/2
