The faster this is settled faster the prorogued period ends. Most 🇨🇦 feel strongly about tariffs but still hate Trudeau, clear now?

The USA has a lot of oil but it’s more profitable to export it and import cheap Canadian heavy oil to make gas,you would need to spend billions to retool those refineries.

People thinking it is Canada paying are wrong, now we could lower our selling prices to help offset this but certain commodities can’t be replaced especially overnight. Trade wars hurt people on both sides

@PierrePoilievre All good ideas, but nothing Trudeau says will matter, Trump should say I want Trudeau gone and until that happens we put the tariffs, instead he is going this route, if he doesn’t pause tariffs til Trudeau is gone then we have to respond. We also better diversify trade, 🇨🇦first

@TheMarcitect No people aren’t, Canadians want Trudeau gone so a new PM can negotiate deals with the USA, Trump would go a long way to ending Trudeau and the liberals by pausing tariffs til the election of a new PM. If we re-elect liberals then we deserve it. That said we must respond til then
