Architect. He attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which. - DA
4 months ago I switched back to an iPhone after having a 1+ Android for 8 years.
The iPhone hardware is great (except the placement of the camera button). iOS, however, is meh at best. Android is objectively better.
Note to all construction products suppliers: stop sending daily emails. Monthly is sufficient. I will be unsubscribing to all that don't allow me to select this option.
Most current "modern" architecture are rectilinear surfaces with different finish materials. If you change the material on each plane, it's now "modern".
Bleh.
@tweetingggma@LeadingReport 16.4% with a poverty line deduction is revenue neutral.
15% is doable due to increased economic activity with the code change.

@MakeTexasBlue22 Piling on:
You realize that you were lied to your whole life? SS money has ALWAYS been a tax and you have NEVER had a claim on what you paid. That we get anything at all is due to political pressure on Congress.
SS must be completely restructured.
@mnolangray One of my professors in architecture school (one of the 2 or 3 that actually practiced) said: building codes have done more to ruin architecture than architects ever could.
@ScottWarner18 I have a recommendation (not my idea):
Have him open it alone in a quiet room. Let him read it and feel the Spirit touch him about the call. Then he can come out and share the excitement.
It'll be a far better experience for him than having everyone see his initial reaction.
@buildingslc Federal money is your money and my money. It's not magic "free" money.
Go look at how Minnesota is faring with their trains? They got federal money to put them in but now are saddled with the ongoing cost and non-existent riders.
We dodged a bullet.
@Culture_Crit 1. Nobody wants to pay for it anymore.
2. There are very few craftspeople that have the skill to do it.
3. Building codes have done more to destroy architectural design than architects ever could.
