🗣️ EVERY SEAT HAS A STORY.
As another season begins, there’s always a sense of excitement. New hopes. New challenges. New memories waiting to be made.
Looking around Clandeboye Park, it’s easy to see rows of seats. But they aren’t just seats.
Every one has a story.
Some will be filled by supporters who have followed Bangor through thick and thin for decades. Others by families making memories together. Some by children dreaming that one day they’ll wear the yellow and blue. Others by people carrying burdens that no one else knows anything about, finding ninety minutes where they can simply breathe.
As Club Chaplain, I’d encourage us all to remember that football is about people.
To our players—play with pride, passion and humility. Enjoy every moment because these seasons pass more quickly than you think.
To our managers and coaches—thank you for the countless hours that nobody sees. The planning, the travelling, the phone calls, the encouragement and the care you give make a real difference.
To our volunteers and staff—you are the heartbeat of this club. Much of what you do happens quietly in the background, but without you there simply wouldn’t be a matchday.
And to our supporters—never underestimate the difference your encouragement can make. A cheer can lift a player. A kind word can restore confidence. Your support helps make Bangor Football Club feel like home.
Let’s make this a season where we’re known not only for our football, but for our character.
Let’s be patient when things don’t go our way.
Let’s celebrate together when they do.
Let’s look out for one another.
Let’s remember that every person who walks through the turnstiles matters.
The Bible says,
“Let us encourage one another.” — Hebrews 10:25
It’s simple, but powerful.
So as the new season begins, let’s write another chapter in the story of Bangor Football Club together. A story of commitment, friendship, community and hope.
Because every seat has a story.
Let’s make this season one worth telling.
Wishing every manager, coach, player, volunteer, member of staff and supporter God’s blessing for the season ahead.

⚽️ Another new season begins tomorrow and it’s the first time since 1️⃣9️⃣9️⃣5️⃣ that we begin a consecutive season in the top flight.
We haven’t been spoilt with Premiership football recently, so let’s all work together to keep it at Clandeboye Park 💪🏻
If you celebrated the glory of the mid-90s and drifted away from the Seasiders, now is the time to come back.
If you’re a seasoned regular that has seen us all the way to the Ballymena League and back again, we can’t wait to see you again tomorrow.
If you’re undecided about backing the Seasiders tomorrow at Clandeboye Park, don’t wait. We need your support.
And if you’re not yet a Bangor supporter, what are you waiting for? Whether you’re on your own or with a group of friends you’ll be warmly welcomed and there’s nothing better than getting behind your local Club.
On and off the pitch, your support really matters. Come on Bangor 💪🏻
