@Raspberry_Pi You can see Andy @PiStuffing 's Pi-powered drone in person at our Sat 15 Sept event in Cheltenham. Free tickets from https://t.co/gU6mTb2YEM
Remember Andy Baker’s excitingly flammable demo at our 4th birthday party? Two years later, he’s finished his autonomous drone project. Here’s more.

Just published my @Raspberry_Pi piDrone documentation. Chapter one: “Don’t Do It!”. Hopefully though you’ll find lots of stuff about the sensors and other useful bits and bobs. https://t.co/NiF33d4jor
@rdnewsham No, it doesn't, though the fact I fly at 1.5m off the ground mostly in my back garden with 5m high walls means the only person at danger is me.
Introducing Penelope (Pitstop): a @Raspberry_Pi 3B+, Stretch, Python with 3D accelerometer, gyrometer and magnetormeter along with ground facing LiDAR and video and GPS, allowing file or GPS autonomous- or RC human-control; see https://t.co/Z4fQ8J8iqO for more.
@goodguyguybrush@Raspberry_Pi To be honest, I have no idea! There's tweaks left for Zoe (the Pi0W pidrone) and Ivy (3B+ pidrone RC), but beyond that, the sky's the limit!
@DougGore@rsstab @cymplecy @CotswoldJam Search ebay for "olimexery FS90R servo" for a pair including wheels at £27.90 a pair in UK, or from China at £3 is you're patient or £5 if not (P&P is the difference). I got them from China for the @CotswoldJam
@CotswoldJam, @AstroDesignsLtd tutorial prototype working fine with 'wheel' moving (A)CW at variable speeds using #RaspberryPi RPi.GPIO software PWM. Safe to get the other kits now! Just the 3 wires needed on right - left side wires are my lightsaber!
@AstroDesignsLtd & @CotswoldJam: 36 Continuous Rotation Servos arrived from China in 4 days (at a price). Now I need to come up with a tutorial in time for the jam on Sat May 19th https://t.co/17xfYnPRBO
