Not a fan of set rotation without additional formats and with Konami not supporting additional formats atm it would probably end up stymieing the game in the long run. I think even an update to the Master Rules would help. Imagine if pendulum wasn't locked behind links anymore...

@distantcoder I think generics are really the largest issue. You see it the most with link monsters, just being able to go into removal means that most of the game state is keeping bodies off the field and negating the ones that are there. It's fixable if they'd errata cards to keep it in line

@MBTYuGiOh Prologue of the D.S. is absolutely crazy allowing you to summon a Buster Dragon and the Destroyer Swordsman during your opponents turn for the buster lock, BUT the second effect doesn't protect the B.B. from being destroyed which means the equipped Whelp can be sent without issue
