just setting up parental controls allows the parent to control what games their child can join. if a parent can't even do that, and lets their child on roblox, unrestricted and unmonitored, that is neglecting your child's safety.
They really have been blaming video games as reasons for this violence for 30 years at this point... can we move on from this?
It's not the games; it has more to do with the environment the person is in IRL, as well as the peers they hang out with.

it's lovely when the irresponsibility of parents causes restrictive laws to be made when the root of the problem is not teaching kids internet safety or not letting them be exposed to social media at a young impressionable age.
