@BobWulff Price is 100% one of THE most important factors.
The Steam Deck increasing in price makes it a significantly worse buy. Still a decent buy, but not INSANE like it was before.
I love my AYN Thor. Would I pay $2000 for one? No.
@LuftkoppTim Any time I see people complain about the size of the Switch 2, suddenly everyone is like "but the performance" even though typically handhelds were ~1.5 generations behind home consoles.
I want worse graphics, in a smaller package, that i can take with me.
@BoundaryBreak Would I rather have a 6-10 hour game that is incredibly fun and I will probably revisit every 1-5 years for the rest of my life?
Or a 50 hour grindfest that I'll forget after 6 months.
@fattyisfearful Saddest part is, until Lego sniped the deal from them, Mega Construx was doing EXACTLY THAT
$6-10 super cheap sets just featuring a Pokemon in a Pokeball(Picked the most common ones, but there were a ton of them, definitely over 100, including mons all the way up to at LEAST G7)
@Disgusting_Xin I haven't pulled up Cyberpunk myself on the Thor(I totally should) but there's been decent performance improvements in the last 3-4 months, so I wonder if it would be better now.
If we had a native release like the Switch 2 does, I'd imagine it'd run better still!
@ItsPapaJefe Why is it Joe's job to fix Blisy's mess?
Blisy was the one that started the shit-talking. Some internet randoms took it too far, sure. But Blisy brought the energy in the first place.
Apologizing to Joe for shit-talking his site would probably be the way to stop them.
@glittermizuki@Dude36509305@DanGuy96 FIVE?
I remember a couple years back pulling it up at my parents place out of curiosity and it swaps over at 7, I was shocked.
Kids can barely get home from school and watch a couple of cartoons before it signs off.
@ItsPapaJefe@GummyGamer_YT Point is, they simultaneously dunked on Serebii while building a project that benefits directly from Serebii.
It's a very entitled look. IMO, Blisy should apologize to Joe and change the thumbnail
(People calling for any harm to Blisy are fucking insane and need to shut up)
@draconicatt I go to a medium sized one each year (it's actually coming up in a month or so, can't wait!) since it's in my town. Been going for 10+ years now at this point.
Yeah its nice being able to find stuff, and idk why but getting like one or two plush at every con I go to is fun.
@draconicatt Congrats, I hope you had fun!
Yeah, a lot of these booths sell stuff like Sitting Cuties, but they have to buy them at MSRP, so they mark them up to actually make a profit on them, with the justification being that some are OOS, and you can buy it and take it home today.
@draconicatt No offense but is this your first convention?
Convention stall prices are almost always marked up at places like this, at least a little bit. Plus, a lot of those sitting cuties may be out of stock currently, so it's a way to get them *right now*.
@PenPlays_@LPTechnoLogic1 Corporations don't think long term.
Since the whole goal is to maximize shareholder value, selling the future to profit today is their play 90% of the time.
It'll almost certainly be the death of the brand in 10-20 years, but they'll figure that out soon enough.
@Ol_Gooch@WestTownHD@The__Hylia@HeyLookItsFNaFb Hall monitor BS.
If/When Emerald drops, unless they manually patch the game, there's a massive cloning glitch there towards the end of the game, so this will all be pointless.
@vitalyavolyn Serebii has better information for the games in a decent number of cases, and often has information faster.
Pokopia is a good example, Serebii was the first place that had any solid info on Pokopia mechanics/items(that a bunch of other sites then stole)
