At this point, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny the obvious: Ukraine is being reduced to a dysfunctional rump state,its infrastructure wrecked, its electricity system crippled, and its strategic ports severely compromised.

And yet, remarkably, someone saw this coming as far back as 2015.
He warned that this would be the ultimate outcome.
The response?
He was dismissed, ridiculed, and treated as though he had no idea what he was talking about.

Fast-forward to today, and the supposedly “absurd” scenario he warned about looks less absurd by the day.

Perhaps the most uncomfortable lesson is that the people who were most confident in dismissing his warnings were not necessarily the people who understood where events were heading.

History has a particularly brutal way of exposing misplaced certainty.

I voted No.

It’s not proper for our federal government to coerce universities into engaging with any particular foreign country.

We can't say for sure, but the latest Fauci document dump includes evidence that Ralph Baric's coronavirus engineering research with the Wuhan lab was blessed by the CIA. 

That may sound conspiratorial, but consider:

- Baric serves on an advisory group to U.S. intel called the Biological Sciences Experts Group. 
- In Sept. 2015 the CIA commissioned a paper on how a bioterrorist might engineer the coronavirus MERS into a pandemic virus via the BSEG.
- As a member of the BSEG and the world's top expert (the "big cheese" in coronaviruses, as one colleague called him) Baric would be the natural choice for this project. 
- Baric published a paper three months earlier with Wuhan's Shi Zhengli on this subject.
- The classified paper on MERS was approved by "NCPC": the National Counterproliferation and Biosecurity Center. I reported last year that this center adamantly opposed the lab leak theory. After my reporting, Tulsi Gabbard shut it down. I didn't include this in my report, but I heard one official burst into tears when presented with evidence for a lab leak.
