We have received alarming reports of deployment of heavily armed men and restriction of community access in SLS, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS), Davao del Norte.

In a video posted by Liwayway Magaway on Facebook, armed men are reportedly intimidating Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to dismantle their homes and vacate lands legally awarded to them under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

According to reports, residents attempting to enter or leave the area are allegedly being blocked by these armed personnel, causing fear and intimidation in the community.

Based on our information, these armed men claim that they are acting under a legal order. Pero wala naman daw maipakita na court order.
