If you're broke and have only your SO's money, you can't afford a lawyer, and maybe can't even get to a clinic to see if there's resources. Plus trauma bonding will keep people in bad places forever.

@momfraser @LKHamilton For sure. His whole family does it, as they always have - being poor, black, and southern, so they're very traditional. That expectation of me to alter my way of existing to fit that traditional role of women second was a big part of why I left that marriage. Cuz that ain't me.🤣
