God forbid Americans celebrate their 250th birthday. As a Marine Corps vet, I’m all for it. I bet the UFC Freedom 250 fights gets anyone with a patriotic bone in their body fired up!
Going to start using our team avg for weekly sprint times as a metric for current state of performance and recovery.
Red box is the team average comparing weekly sprint times to their PRs. This week, coming back from Spring Break, we averaged 99% speed as a team!
Coaches, give me your opinion:
We run fly 10s weekly, lift 3x a week. Before Spring Break our speed gains were stagnating, but we were getting after it in the weight room. Coming back after two weeks off, had our best sprint session in months…
@CoachCShu Yes, 3 full body lifts. We do something power clean related every session. Sprint Tuesday after a Monday lift. Probably not ideal , but I have been consistent with it. Wish we could sprint on the OVR twice a week, but one is better than none.
