On Friday morning, a Tesla Model 3 with two passengers plunged 300 feet down after the driver veered off a cliff on Mulholland Highway in Malibu.

Both were rescued and airlifted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

2026 Tesla Model Y vehicles, manufactured on or after Nov. 12, 2025, successfully met the new criteria for four newly integrated advanced safety tests:
• Pedestrian automatic emergency braking
• Lane keeping assistance
• Blind spot warning
• Blind spot intervention

Both in terms of its autonomous driving capabilities and its physical, engineering structure.

In this case, missile fragments landed on the glass roof of the Model Y, and the glass still maintained the vehicle’s structural integrity and the safety of the interior.

I’ve seen Elon’s work ethic up close for years, so I can say this honestly. Almost every time I have met Elon, he has been working and grinding hard. The first time I met him was in San Francisco around 11pm. He had already spent the entire day working at Tesla and then went straight to Twitter headquarters. It was late, but he was still fully focused and working. Months later, in October, I visited him again. It was late evening on a weekend, and once again, he was working. No breaks, no downtime. He was even working on his birthday. Last month, when I met him again, it was a Sunday evening and he was deep into xAI work.

This has been consistent for years. Seven days a week. He is driven by a mission to make humanity multi planetary. He understands the urgency and believes we are running out of time. Even with all the money in the world, he does not take vacations, does not own a yacht, and does not live in some fancy mansion. He lives simply, loves his work, and stays extremely disciplined. So anyone saying he had time to party on an island is telling a blatant lie.

Western civilization has the same problem that numerous older civilizations had: It's too rich - people don't want to work in menial jobs and don't have enough kids.

To counter that, politicians in Europe and USA allowed the influx of illegal immigrants to enter their country but didn't consider the cultural differences between the incoming and current population.

The solution is to populate those menial jobs with humanoid robots - there won't be any more need for illegal aliens to fill those jobs, and people will have more time and resources (with the help of universal basic income) to have children.

But we need to do this fast and in great quantity. The only company that can deliver this right now is @Tesla with @Tesla_Optimus.

@elonmusk I got my tesla with very low charge (like 15%) on delivery day. Should be at least 50% imo.
