This language of heroism & self-sacrifice around healthcare workers who died of #COVID19 is not helpful & shifts responsibility. These people had a job to do that they couldn’t quit. They’re victims of an occupational hazard & should’ve been protected. They didn’t want to die 😔

@richardmarcj Might have something to do with job opportunities about 10 times better in London. As a Londoner who lived in Sheffield for a year and then moved back to London for precisely that reason can attest that North suffers from a massive lack of investment and decent jobs. Shame. 1/2
