🚨 POLITICAL INTIMIDATION ON THE WEST SIDE?

One of Danielle Carter-Walters’ volunteers was out on the West Side this morning collecting petition signatures when two Black men allegedly began harassing her and telling her that she “can’t get any signatures on the West Side.”

Let me make something clear: voters decide whose petitions they sign—not political operatives, activists, or people attempting to intimidate campaign volunteers.

If people are attempting to interfere with Danielle’s volunteers by harassing or intimidating them while they lawfully collect signatures, we are going to document it.

This is exactly the type of behavior CFR will be watching throughout this election season.

You can support another candidate. You can refuse to sign. You can disagree with Danielle and CFR.

But harassing volunteers or attempting to interfere with lawful petition gathering crosses a line.

If this is the beginning of the political games, intimidation, and interference aimed at CFR and Danielle’s volunteers, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

And when appropriate, we will bring the documentation to the proper authorities locally and federally.

Chicago voters deserve the opportunity to make their own decisions at the ballot box without intimidation.
