Astroneer is a gorgeous exploration and sandbox science game with a fun gameplay loop. It requires critical thinking and teaches you some stuff too.

Indie games, atleast from what ive seen, are made from a core of love for game making and story telling. (Not all, yes, but most).

Triple A games are made for cash with a minority made for the love of the game.

Tripled A games get added, but the majority of gamepasses use is to try new games that you haven't before (and 99% of the time thats usually an indie game). (2/2)

Besides, indie games can be just as good, @astroneergame, Outerwilds, @NeonAbyssGame for instance are my top 3 picks for indie games and all have a wide range of playstyle.
