@Matthijs85 @Piratenpartij verbaasd me dat men die dingen ook zelf koopt. geef je data niet zomaar aan de cloud, een zelf gehostte pc met goede ip camera icm intranet netwerk: prima, maar stuur die data niet standaard door naar de cloud, zoals ring deurbellen doen.

why did @nvidia and @virtualbox get incompatible with 3d acceleration on linux host OS' with 3D acceleration on? how am i supposed to run a non glitching virtual machine now?

Price being considered for the 5600XT is $279-$299. $299 seems likely :( - clocks around ~1300Mhz depending on the AIB model. It's a new tape-out of the 5700 die, different specs though.

juat a heads up on file sharing through google drive: each file has metadata containing the sharer's email in plain text. if one shares through google drive, do so by a secondary email address for safety! #safety @Google

For CES 2020, what i am hoping for: the big laptop battle betwen @AMD, @intel & possibly @Arm ? The 3500U is very nice, but the offerings based on Zen need to be extended, and that @thepine64 pinebook pro looks like a compelling option.
