In seven years of storm chasing, I think that was the most dangerous storm I have ever storm chased. Micro circulations on the front end. Blowing dust. Blowing hail fog at 90mph+ 100 feet over me. Torrential rain. Absolutely miserable and abysmal situation
Getting insanely PUMMLED in zero visibility from the dust going into this inflow near Selden, KS WOW! Watch live: https://t.co/wNmXMJpMq0 @WxWiseApp@foxweather@ryanhallyall
Once past Goodland, the chase became a game of getting across the OFB to the ~90 degree temps, sitting for 5 minutes to watch the structure roll in, then bolt the moment it turned cold again. Otherworldly structure, and a couple of gustnadoes.
