Respectfully, I think the messaging in the original tweet and your response is a bit off. You can in fact trace every transaction a wallet address makes and eventually pinpoint who is the owner of said address. Platforms like Arkham Intel makes it super easy to do so. Entire companies like Chainalysis are centered around blockchain data and tracing transactions on blockchains. The ability to Blacklist an address which prevents it from being able to send or receive a particular asset is also possible. You typically see that with stablecoins like USDC or USDT. Another example would be the clawback feature on the XRPL. Any token launched on the XRPL can indeed have the clawback feature turned on at token creation. Now, in terms of being able to freeze BTC specifically or steal it from a wallet address, that is not possible at the moment. I do however believe that once quantum computing gets off the ground that is when cryptography of any crypto asset is at risk.
