I wonder if this is too large a cut, too fast. I imagine things got to effect the business negatively in some way jack has not thought out. Will be fascinating to watch. Meanwhile, how many CEO’s are reading about this, watching XYZ stock pop 20% and pondering doing this for their own companies?

$SE Sea Ltd. now trading at 0.4x PEG ratio. Perplexing. Falling in tandem with China, ie KWEB? Concerns over AMZN entering Brazil? TiKTok taking share in SEA? Can't be a large holder liquidating...on the plus side, Bloomberg just published a note about how well Garena is doing...what am I missing?? is this just mispriced and a gift?

Reminds me a bit of Druckenmiller deciding to cover his tech stock short positions in year 2000 and instead go long those tech stocks, only to have the Nasdaq collapse soon after. That was a very rare mistake by an incredibly good investor. And I doubt Burry is going long, but his timing is interesting.

Cool. What’s the take rate on that transaction/charge, if any? What’s the breakdown of that take rate? Visa and MC get nothing, nor any bank, correct? What if the merchant doesn’t want to hold bitcoin…how do they convert it and what is charge for converting? Instant settlement? Other advantages for merchant and consumer I’m not thinking of? Advantage compared to using a stablecoing like USDC? Thx.
