Looks dreadful. Lifts have been installed at Blackheath, Greenwich and other stations without destroying historic character. Why is only #Plumstead getting a value-engineered, cheapskate solution. Footbridge and steps shd be listed IMHO. More power to your elbow @PlumsteadProjct

Network Rail’s plans for 160 yr-old Plumstead Stn will solve nothing, exacerbate probs & cause irreparable damage to stn & environs. Object by 14/11; ask cmtee to delay so @PlumsteadProjct alt design can be explored. Worth delaying to get things right.
