Happy International Biodiversity Day! And Vesak Day! A little thread on my day…First photo: Craterellus cornucopioides var. mediosporus Corner. According to Singapore’s guide to Macrofungi, this mushroom belongs to Hydnaceae, a family with ectomycorrhizal species.
The last photo is a Thottea sp. 🌸. Also another amazing plant with really purple flowers, its family is famous for attracting fly pollinators because of its corpse like appearance🥩
Happy to share that our commentary on integrating belowground processes to improve restoration success is finally out! 🥳 @Biotropica
