Wonderful work by @XilanYang875, @PoelmansWard and all other co-authors! Nice collaboration with @BertDeRybel and @HildeNelissen.
I had a great time presenting the latest insights into Selaginella root development and evolution from the @beeckman_tom lab @PSB_VIB and learning about the exciting research on phloem evolution @InstMolPlantSci. Thanks so much @MPEG_Edinburgh for a wonderful afternoon.

In 1966, he found heat-resistant bacteria in a hot spring at Yellowstone National Park. That led to the development of the chemical process behind the coronavirus test.

As we all know, humans (and Arabidopsis) are early diverging, ancient, lowly, basal, primitive organisms that have stopped evolving hundreds of millions years ago. Obviously demonstrated by the below phylogenetic tree. Moss is the pinnacle of evolution.
Nice paper !
CLE signaling has had a tantalizing link to cell division since it's discovery regulating shoot apical meristem size
Here we show that CLV1-clade BAM receptors activate a cell cycle gene to drive formative root divisions
