@ABs_Reviews @SCentralized It's only hinted at, and one warrior isn't going to tip off an extra-galactic invasion. I think Palpatine/Thrawn knowning about the Vong is still speculated on. The Chiss were encountering them, but I don't think they knew the full scope of the threat.

@TheAstroPub I think they'll compliment each other. It's also clear they're letting the PU suffer so they can get SQ42 done. We'll get a good sci fi story then the PU will get the dev hours it actually needs.

@BTV_Cast I've found the Retaliator and Eclipse bomb racks at Centermass. Most are under 100k. The Eclipse S10 rack is 1.7 million in-game. I haven't found the Gladiator sets yet. Maybe at Cousin Crows?

@Grummz It's because the fight against censorship was so universal we were willing to overlook major character flaws.

But now? Flawed people are exposed and it's discussed. We don't need to unify with everyone on every topic or issue now.

@SandyofCthulhu I think the difference is, the prequels are flawed in a different way than the sequels. Episode 1 is objectively a bad film. When I was nine, I still wanted the toys.

The directing is bad but I think underneath it all, there's the heart of a good story there.

lots of strange reactions to this game. let’s clear some things up:

childless men do not have paternal instincts the way that childless women have maternal instincts (we observe this even in the way little girls play vs. little boys).

men first experience paternal instincts once they have their own children - and typically, those paternal instincts are only ever felt for their own children, and no one else’s.

men are not nurturers. men don’t gush over cute kids in public. men don’t have baby fever. if a man wants to possess a child for any reason other than it being a product of his own lineage, he is likely a predator.

and you’d be taking the feminist/radical gender abolitionist position to protest any of the above points.

this should explain why a “dad simulator” game marketed to mostly childless men gives people the creeps.
