@robertkaplinsky I would add the 2x2 table: willing/unwilling and able/unable. When it comes to training, Teachers (employees of any organization) will be willing & able, unwilling & unable or some combination. The best training should go to the willing & able and willing & unable.

@robertkaplinsky @thestrokeofluck Agree, The Army has a 'crawl, walk, run' analogy in training. During the crawl phase you need just-in-case scaffolding. But when its time to walk they need to be attempting it themselves. Retrieving items from brain matter at the time of need is an important thing!

@hpicciotto @iteachmathAll Good post. For any math teacher in a common core state Geometry is the only category that spans every grade from K-8. Maybe that is a sign of the administration spreading it thin ... but it could be your excuse to do more of it :D
