@RogueScholarPr The church sold indulgences, and demanded tithes, not because it had some crazy interpretation of the Bible, but because it took advantage of the ignorant masses. After that there were all kinds of extreme real sects that took the Bible seriously, like the Skoptsy sect.

@RogueScholarPr I just said that those societies have never read the Bible. The Church itself wanted to prevent the translation; the Church held orgies and sold indulgences. These people (churchman) obviously do not believe in the Bible.
