I have a family member who has been a loyal listener of Candace for many Years. Following her lead, they have now lost most conservative principles. They now focus on conspiracies and blaming Israel and Trump for all the worlds problems. Every conversation now feels like an intervention with someone who has joined a cult. Untangling Candance's flawed logic takes time. It is like playing whack-a-mol when dealing with a loyal Candace listener. At this point, I wish I hadn't supported their Candace Owens listening all those years ago. To see what she has become after Charlie's death is truly disturbing.
@Manhattva I guess as long as you don't end up stuck in the middle of a #CorsaRally. I once ended up behind a bunch of Lamborghinis on Highway 6. I had places to go, and they wouldn't let me pass them..
Maybe we need some new terms. You guys can keep your co-opted term "Christian" and we can use one of these: True Christian, Genuine Christina, Pure Christian, Scriptural Christian, Uncorrupted Christian, Authentic Christian, Uncompromised Christian, or Precreedal Christian. There is no question that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe in Christ. But the term "Christian" itself has been taken over by those who seem to be far from it based on how they present themselves online.
@Wyvernlol1@fugustra1 The Major Crimes Act restricts felony authority to federal officers. Jurisdiction over lesser crimes can be dependent upon tribal membership, or the lack thereof. If there were a couple of white guys on the land breaking the law they could probably do something.
@abc4utah "Alliance for a Better Utah" graded Nate Blouin and Brian King as the best from the Utah House and Senate in 2024. Dan McCay and Phil Lyman were ranked last. They should change their name to "Alliance to turn Utah into California."
@NormieUtah This has happened to me. I received the letter saying my ballot had been rejected after it was too late to do anything about it. I always vote in person, but that year they had closed most polling places because of mail in ballots.
@tvheidihatch That should help prices come down. But I am not sure that national trend is happening in Utah. It is probably a reflection of people trying to sell their homes in the Blue states they are leaving.
@2WheelsRMan@abc4utah Patagonia's governing structure is more like a money laundering scheme. Profits are handed over to a nonprofit which then donates them to board members pet projects, and other special interest groups that those board members are affiliated with.
@YouSpooneeBard Several years ago I found that the perfect meal from Burger King for me was 2 Triple Texas Whoppers, water to drink and no fries. But who can afford to eat out in 2026 Boomer or otherwise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯=
@CensoredJeff@abc4utah@grok I have personally witnessed Salt Lake Tribune writers sit through a meeting and then lie about what took place. An article by the Salt Lake Tribune done in conjunction with environmental fear mongers from Grist is even less credible.
