I’m enjoying the series Star City. Making all the Soviets speak with British accents is ever so slightly off-putting though. I guess it’s better than all of them speaking with a faux-Russian accent. But heck, there was even a Scots accent!

@CrystalQuin I definitely preferred the book - have read it several times in book and audiobook, but I very much enjoyed the movie. Definitely missed a lot of details - like the project to harness enough power to create the astrophages for one; Grace finding out his name too quickly.

@AKOz100 @Optus @Telstra @VodafoneAU @TPG_Telecom 26.4 doesn't have E2EE. They were just testing it in the betas. There was a note there saying it wouldn't be in 26.4. I suspect it'll be in 27. That'll give the telcos a chance to update to roll out with Universal Profile 3.0 that has E2EE.

Took a punt on getting some glasses from @dresdenvision online as they were so good value (photochromatic multifocals) with 50% off sunnies offer. First time I’ve worn plastic frames for decades, but fit is great even on with my low nose bridge.

I really hate how @google is ruining the @YouTube experience on a TV. The subscriptions section now has two screens worth of random recent videos from my subscribed channels before I get to the reverse chronological list of videos. At least give me the option to disable that!

@alexlindsay @AJBlue98 It's a bit of a bug it seems. in portrait mode, if you tap just right of the letter L, the handwriting screen pops up. I don't see a way of turning it off.
