The FBI seized Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan’s phone and electronics at his Soho home early Wednesday, just a week after Polymarket accurately predicted Trump’s election win.

Sources close to Coplan call it “political retribution,” alleging the raid is aimed at punishing Polymarket for outperforming traditional polls.

The government reportedly suspects market manipulation favoring Trump.

Polymarket, a transparent prediction market charging no fees, denies any wrongdoing.

Coplan was not arrested.
