@Alex_S_Cullen Amazing that the Mayor, transit committee and council couldn't see that New Ways to Bus, increased fares and LRT mechanical issues could only result in fewer passengers. Sutcliffe may be the incumbent, but transit will take away any advantage that may have

@Alex_S_Cullen @samarmstrongott How would reducing services provide revenue to fix infrastructure? The city employees supporting the services can’t be fired. A levy tied to assessed real estate value would provide revenue. It would also meet Sutcliffe’s goal of keeping taxes low.

@Alex_S_Cullen Recently visited my old home town. Saw a train station at YOW. Found out I'd have to change trains twice to get to Tunney's. System design is a bit lacking, which doesn't help.
Spoiled living in BC Southern Mainland, where ferry + bus + train gets me to YVR faster than driving.
