With President Trump's (@POTUS) policy bill in the spotlight, let's take a look at where federal spending grew the most over the past year — using #JustTheFacts.
Great conversation like no other with @Steven_Ballmer of @USAFacts on how to use data to help our citizens understand the government. Also: why the @Pacers play in one of the best arenas.

.@USAFacts’ mission is to educate the American public. My letter to @EDSecMcMahon is a caution, not a critique. Efficiency means being effective — and that’s why we focus on understanding government through numbers. I believe it’s important for everyone to have the data needed to evaluate the quality of education in our country.
Thank you @GinaChon for a great conversation at @semafor’s #WorldEconomySummit. https://t.co/iE2nh2VBb8
Grateful and excited for the opportunity to speak @aspenideas Health on a panel discussing the effective communication of health information. It's an incredible chance to highlight how @USAFacts answers the public's questions by bringing clarity and insight to government data.

What a fantastic morning I had being interviewed about @USAFacts by Lola @889thebridge, @mercerislandsd’s award-winning radio station. Big props to Natalie Cannon Woods and Joe Bryant who swapped their broadcasting careers for the classroom to guide students, including my kids!
Incredibly proud @USAFacts landed right in the middle and on top of this impressive list! In today’s ever-shifting news landscape, we’re committed to being a trusted source of unbiased, factual information. Cheers to the dedication and hard work of our small but mighty team.
🎉 News to celebrate: For the third time in a row, we earned top marks on the latest @adfontesmedia Bias Chart!
Among 159 news sources, we stand out as a trusted provider of impartial information, landing squarely in the center of the partisan bias scale.
Thanks @GuyKawasaki for a great conversation on the importance of accurate, nonpartisan data in today’s polarized climate. Proud to share how @USAFacts empowers all Americans with facts to decide if the country is on the right track.

📊 Thank you, @NickHalaris, for a vital conversation on government transparency. As taxpayers, we're like shareholders—deserving clear data on our investment. At @USAFacts, we empower citizens with the facts they need to make informed decisions, free of partisan interpretation.
Every American is a stakeholder in this country — but are they truly getting the returns they deserve?
Our President @PoppyMacD recently joined @NickHalaris to discuss this question and share how we’re providing Americans with clear data to decide for themselves.

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
It’s a wonderful time to connect with loved ones, indulge in delicious meals, and, of course, share a generous helping of facts. This year, I'm excited to share a tasty @USAFacts tidbit: the cost of turkey is down by 3.9%.
Spotted: @USAFacts! Thanks @DOGE for sharing our data. Our mission remains clear: sharing nonpartisan, unbiased facts for every American — and administration — to stay informed and make sound decisions.
In FY2023, the U.S. Government spent $6.16. trillion while only bringing in $4.47 trillion.
The last budget surplus was in 2001.
This trend must be reversed, and we must balance the budget.
With all the headlines surrounding the Department of Education, our team did what we do best: dug into the data to deliver clear, nonpartisan facts. Proud of our small but mighty team!
There’s a lot of buzz around the Department of Education – but what does it do?
Founded in 1980, the @usedgov primarily funds student financial aid and K-12 programs. It’s the sixth highest-funded federal agency, receiving 4% of all federal funding in 2024 — totaling $268.35 billion.
It’s also the smallest of any cabinet-level department with 4,100 full-time employees in 2023.
Each vote cast today reflects why I'm committed to the mission at @USAFacts. We strive to provide clear, unbiased data, enabling every American to make informed decisions. As we watch the results tonight, I'm deeply thankful for the role we play in this process.
On #ElectionDay, I proudly wear my “I Voted” sticker—a symbol of our vital civic duty. This year our family continues a tradition of watching the election results roll in, including my son a future voter in 2016 now voting for the first time from @BostonCollege!
Over 40M people have watched our #JustTheFacts videos to learn the clear, unbiased numbers on major policy issues. Thank you @RomaineBostick and @scarletfu for a great convo on how @USAFacts helps voters see the full picture.

The countdown to Election Day is on! Don’t miss @USAFacts final #JustTheFacts episodes where @Steven_Ballmer dives deep into US healthcare and explores our country — all by the numbers. https://t.co/Z1oFRFyANy
My worlds collided in the best possible way tonight! It was an absolute pleasure to moderate a conversation for @YPO Seattle on the election, featuring my former DC colleague and friend, @TimAlberta
At @USAFacts, we have a big, mighty ambition: make data from 90,000 government entities accessible and produce it in a way that answers Americans' questions.
I loved getting to share about our "North Star" and how it guides everything we do. https://t.co/ItMhqsO9RW
I'm doing some work with @USAFacts and watching the videos @Steven_Ballmer has done. Setting aside my pro-facts bias, this 14 minute video is excellent, takes no sides, lays out the fossil/renewables picture well, notes that China is the world's worst greenhouse gas emitter now, outlines what the #IRA is doing, and shows how America's global energy position has just radically changed. And surprisingly shows that the cost of energy for consumers overall has declined in the last 20 years. This is well worth watching no matter your political perspective. It's good!
