What is Nigel Farage not telling us about his £5m “gift”?
I spoke to Danny Finkelstein on Times Radio earlier today about the many unanswered questions surrounding Christopher Harborne’s generous “gift” to the Reform leader.
It’s time for him to come clean.

A brilliant visit to St Francis of Assisi this week, an amazing school with dedicated, caring teachers and staff who do so much for their pupils and our community.
It was great to see the breakfast club in action, making a real difference for children and families, with additional support from the government helping it expand even further.
Huge thanks to everyone at @SFA_primary, and to the wonderful children, for such a warm welcome.
Out canvassing in Putney. Emotional to be in the birthplace of Clement Attlee.
Founder of the NHS! It was a really moving moment to be there and think about the legacy that still shapes lives today.
Out canvassing in all weather, including today’s sunshine. Great to meet a constituent who said they’ll be voting Labour for change in Kensington and Chelsea.

For too long, gambling companies have been allowed to take over high streets and harm our communities. That changes today.
Tonight we'll be voting to give more power to local communities and to halt the gambling takeover.
From Lambeth to Lewisham, Hackney to Hounslow - this week we've announced every London borough will get at least one new late-night youth club.
Safe spaces. More opportunities. Youth clubs are back.
It's a tragedy for North Kensington and the surrounding area that the much-loved Pembridge Hospice has been closed to inpatients for several years now.
The new West-North London ICB should act urgently to locate new enhanced care beds in areas of need, such as at Pembridge in North Ken.
Thanks to the Health Minister for backing my calls for the ICB to start engaging seriously with residents and community groups so we can finally restore better palliative and end of life care options.
Great canvassing session this afternoon in Notting Dale and across Kensington & Chelsea and fantastic conversations on the doorstep. Residents deserve leadership that listens and cares. Time for change: let’s elect a Labour council. #Labour#KensingtonAndChelsea#TimeForChange
I've seen first hand the amazing work our Youth Clubs do across our community - so I'm really pleased the the Mayor is investing a record £30M for clubs across London.
That means more investment in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster for youth services - ensuring that we safe spaces, mentoring, mental health support, food - and importantly fun! - accessible to all young Londoners regardless of background.
Today's news that the Mayor of London will provide £4.66M for the 60th Notting Hill Carnival is hugely welcome. It will ensure a well organised and safe carnival can go ahead.
Last year, residents told me they appreciated the extra stewarding and crowd control measures, that made Carnival 2025 one of the best organised in recent history. This funding from the Mayor will ensure we can build on that in 2026, and put on a great event.
Ahead of last night's Second Reading of the Grenfell Memorial Bill, I spoke to @NWI_Westminster.
You can listen to my interview here https://t.co/0utwL1V3I7
It's one year since the Government accepted all of the recommendations from the Grenfell Inquiry, and progress on building safety and social housing rights is always welcome.
But too often, Governments do not learn the lessons from disasters and tragedies - so I applaud the commitment to a new oversight mechanism that can ensure early warning signs are not missed, and real change happens.
I also called for more scrutiny of Kensington & Chelsea Council - whose housing department is still seriously failing according to the independent regulator, and has the third worst complaints record in the country according to the Local Government Ombudsman - and intervention to support residents on the Lancaster West estate.
The measles outbreak in Enfield has shocked me - could my borough of Kensington and Chelsea be next?
K&C, Westminster, Camden, and Hackney have the worst MMR vaccination rates of London boroughs, comparable with Enfield.
Curious what @RBKC is doing about this?
St Helens Ward canvassing was full of love this Valentine’s Day. Great chats with residents backing our brilliant Labour candidates. Kensington and Chelsea Labour will keep fighting for our community and holding the council to account.
When the Tories left office, 1 in 8 young people were not earning or learning. That’s their shameful legacy.
Higher wages. Record investment in apprenticeships. 500,000 more people in work than in the previous year.
That’s the difference with Labour.
Excellent community meeting this morning in St Helen's, North Kensington, including with local representatives and the Police. Topics included local transport, planning, housing policy, the NHS, litter and anti-social behaviour.
Get in touch if you want to attend one of my upcoming community meetings.
Thanks to the West London Bowling Club for hosting!
Wishing everyone a healthy, hopeful, and purposeful New Year. May 2026 bring progress, compassion, and shared action in our communities.
