@TheShortBear I was thinking about this the other day. The acute shock from oil is fuel and the rise has been big reducing disposal income more than a rate rise. We r yet to see the material effects rising fuel has on other things like food, transport etc they are still evolving.
@ruethewhirl551@longhorncapital Personal debt/GDP is significantly different from then to now. Australia wouldn't handle a rate hike similar to that of 79. Watch this space I guess.
@ruethewhirl551 That's a good trip right there. We do live in an amazing country. I've been to most of those spots. Glad you had a great trip. Kids would have loved it.
@ruethewhirl551 No shortage of reasonable coffee in Traralgon. If you're heading back through Bodhi do a great coffee. If you're heading a good distance east you'll come across some nice spots. Enjoy the Xmas and NY's break.
@TMFScottP When the time comes we get a party that make decisions based on the long game rather than the next election success we may see some genuine progress .. π€·
@TMFScottP Isn't the gross/net profit margin from fuel tiny as it stands currently? So how do they offer fair price and stay profitable? Fund the running cost with our tax money? Or increase financial viability by reducing excise thus creating an unfair competitive advantage. π€
@TMFScottP It being abused by the people providing the service not all but a lot. Like trying to reign in the FP sector by requiring a degree. That just made a lot of good FP exit earlier. Harsher penalties, better oversight for both FP and NDIS. A degree doesn't make you ethical π€
@asxcfdtrader Drinking a - large decaf soy latte extra hot extra shot with a shot of vanilla double cupped with extra froth...π. Enjoy the new scenery pal!
