@Tesco at Bulls Bridge have been true to their word and they are currently clearing out the dry dock there. This is a brilliant result from a tweet I sent a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for taking on board my comments

Darius & I attacked bags in the canal Northolt with a long net & rake. We've left the rubbish on the bank to dry out & to let wildlife escape. Will collect when it's dry & attack another part of the canal.

Today @LBofHounslow joined my Canals Without Borders initiative and will remove rubbish collected by our volunteers along the canal and surrounding areas.

We've now got the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow on board.

A few bags of rubbish collected in #Northolt this lunchtime. This is the non-towpath side of the canal but @friendsOfGUC will still be pleased to see this gone!

I am very pleased to say that @Brent_Council have agreed to support the @friendsOfGUC litter picking events within the borough. This means they will they will remove the rubbish and recycling we collect, after an event.

@friendsOfGUC did a sterling job in Northolt/Yeading today. We straddled the borough borders to clean up part of the @TaylorWoodrowUK Grand Union Village and we had community involvement too.

Northolt saw @friendsOfGUC in action yesterday, @EalingParks strimmed the canal offside for them so we could deep clean. Glorious weather after #StormBella !
