@Capt_Barker@Darren_Mooney Iโd guess because the other, less successful projects, are almost purely inspired by Star Wars. Andor was written as a story that could work in almost any setting under fascism and then the lore people made some tweaks to fit the galaxy
@Jetifyed2077 It's a great story but the gameplay hasn't aged very well at all and it's very clearly unfinished. Probably my favourite game narrative, but there's other Star Wars games with better gameplay and delivery
As of right now, 12/17/27 finds three movies opening on the same day:
AVENGERS: SECRET WARS
THE HOUSEMAID'S SECRET
LOTR: THE HUNT FOR GOLLUM
We need a name!
@Rhllorism I was looking at UK baby names for 2024 last night and there were about 26 new Khaleesis and 4 new Daenerys. It looks like season 8 didn't completely kill the name
@megsfrompluto I've just finished a rewatch and they had an open goal with Jamie. Cersei (just like the Mad King) is going to blow up King's Landing with wildfire. Jamie having to go back to kill Cersei (just like he killed the Mad King) would have been the perfect ending to his arc
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple was very, very, very good, and I'd like you all to see it please as it's not doing so hot at the box office and I'd like the third film to happen, cheers.
People who say Avatar has no cultural imprint seem to forget that Luc Besson was inspired by it to make Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, went bankrupt, and as a result no longer releases 15 shitty films a year. That has to count for something.
In 2023 I became obsessed with videos of dads in cargo shortswaiting in parking lots during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. So when she came to town, I grabbed a camera and headed down to talk to them. I thought it'd be funny. It turned out to be something else entirely.
