Wait, so the founder of Anthropic is "Amodei," as in "loves god"?
And he leads Anthropic, meaning "human-centered," which is being used in military strikes?
And the creator of ChatGPT is "Altman," as in "an alternative to humans"?
And he leads OpenAI, which is completely closed?
And then there's "Gemini," meaning "two-faced," from a company that promised to do no evil?
And the whole global AI arms race is being driven by people who claimed to be worried about AGI taking over the world?
Either the universe is an extremely cliché writer, or has a brilliant sense of humor
@karlmehta This is the most idiotic thread in a while. Hagiography at its best. The author is dumb to assume many things and brush off potential impacts that threaten democracy for minor deals which may not last beyond the current term. Ex: Hiw is Pakistan a bigger market than India?
Doesn't portend well for Apple... Slew of good reviews on the new Qualcomm windows devices means.. Qualcomm has caught up to Apple in terms of power efficient silicon on the first major try .. almost on par with M3. Wish same can be said about 5G modems...

Unless there are IP concerns, sharing the code with a sanitized data set with the world for every ML paper published helps to move it forward. No point in chest thumping when we can't validate or extend it.
Something for rads and medical imagers to keep in mind when submitting ML papers to journals. Are we moving the field forward, or are we just showing we did a thing? This paper helps to show the difference: https://t.co/uA9kURk6up @SIIM_Tweets@Radiology_AI

It’s time for my annual wish list AI vendors. Instead of telling you what I need, I’ll tell you what I don’t need:
a) Decision support
b) Prognostic information
c) Links to pubmed articles
