Listen, there are a lot of people here complaining about Elon being an immigrant. I can only speak for myself, I am part indigenous, very small percentage, but mostly English/Irish/Scottish. My ancestors were immigrants too. There were ports of entry setup even back then. Ellis Island was the largest and most known port of entry. They discriminated against the Irish and Italians quite a bit back then. I am tired of people saying someone who followed the rules for coming into a country is the same as someone who hopped a fence, crosses a wooded border or swam a river.

Let me put it into simple terms. I have a house. They say a man is “King” of his castle, but for you people out there that can’t get allegory let me break it down even simpler.

My house is my country. Me and my wife are the leaders of my country. My children were born into my country and if we adopted then we would have what you call a legal immigrant. They were invited, and we gave the the same rights and privileges as our children/citizens at that point. Now if a couple of other kids see that and they want the same exact thing, and they come in to my house without my permission, take up space in my house, without my permission, and are using my resources without my permission, what am I to do? According to your logic, I should just let the stay, even though they weren’t invited, they do not follow the rules I have setup for my country, and are depleting me of my resources.

This, at least for me, is not about race. This is about what are the written and agreed upon laws of this land. It is pretty simple.
