The Truth About Ron DeSantis

Ron DeSantis is the son of a nurse and a cable box installer. He went to and graduated from public school. His first job out of high school was as an electrician’s assistant. He worked his ass off to get to Yale University, then worked his ass off at Yale to get to Harvard Law.

He didn’t use his fancy law degree to go into private practice and get rich. He joined the Navy to serve as a JAG officer in Iraq. Later, when he got elected to the US House, he became a founding member of the Freedom Caucus. Those are the people fighting to limit government and stay true to the Constitution. You know, conservatives.

I’m sure you already know the rest. I’m not going to start listing off his accomplishments as governor because it would be far too much to read for a Twitter post. I just wanted to clear up any confusion about his ”elitism” and the idiotic obsession over whether he’s supported by “the Establishment.” Paul Ryan, Jeb Bush and Meghan McCain could get a picture of DeSantis tattooed on their foreheads and it would not affect my vote one iota. This is not a soap opera or TV drama. It’s a question of who is best suited to give my children their best shot at a decent country.

Right now, our country, both Republicans and Democrats, are stuck on stupid. We have a really good shot at changing that. If you disagree, that’s fine. That’s your right. I’ll just make a deal with you: go easy on lying about my preferred candidate and I’ll go easy on telling the truth about yours. Thanks for reading.

There is thing called data. It is created when people vote. Based on said voting, data can be studied to determine what voters want versus what they do not.

Abstention from voting for particular types of candidates (MAGA in this case) sends a clear message to consultants and their political bosses that the MAGA era is over.

Conversely, voting for Democrats reflects approval of their platform, or at the very least, acceptance of their vile beliefs. Those same idiot consultants will surmise that the idiots who crossed over are a new liberal bloc of the party to which they must pander. In short, you are actively creating artificial demand for leftism. Leftists do that well enough on their own without our help.

Discontent with Donald Trump will never drive me mad to the point of voting for the party of Al-Sayed and Omar. I’ll write in Norm MacDonald first. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to vote for either evil. That is your right.
