Made a swarm system for Silicon Souls!
I'm using ECS pattern but not using DOTS, every entity is created and simulated through burst compiled Unity jobs, and then a MeshRenderer is created that follows the computed position to display it!

@ericnofsinger Each level will correspond to an AI's "organ", in which you'll find secrets that will give both gameplay boosts and lore bits.
We're actively working on making this visually understandable through level design, we'll show more soon :)
Stress-testing the voxel cleaning mechanic in Silicon Souls, steady 60fps cleaning hundred of blocks and spawning thousands of fragments per second!
We made a ton of optimizations recently and this is starting to be quite satisfying :)

@ModernGrindTech Right now fragments aren't batched, so I probably cannot go into the tens of thousands, and older GPUs might suffer. maybe I'll experiment with shader animated fragments at some point. Biggest optimization was reimplementing some collisions checks in voxel space !
