Subsidy is gone ooo
They said subsidy was taking a chunk of borrowing but they are still borrowing heavily and they can't fund budget they keep carrying over budget cycles
Buhari funded budget ooo and paid subsidy oooo
They claim they are sharing the money to states we can't see the money ooo
No b juju be Dat!
So why allow the people suffer subsidy removal and your are still heavily borrowing and budgets are not funded
Contractors are owed!
I supported subsidy removal because we thought they will be accountable but the pain on the people is too much while their politicians are enjoying
No measure to help the people.i predicted rightly subsidy will cause plenty chaos for the people in my subsidy debate.

DEAR @officialEFCC
Last night, your officers barged into my accommodation and harassed me. It was an experience I never expected, and it left me asking serious questions about how citizens are treated.
I believe every Nigerian deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. If there are questions to ask or investigations to carry out, they should be done professionally and within the law, not through intimidation.
BUT ONE QUESTION KEEPS COMING TO MY MIND:
● What business does the EFCC have with religion?
The EFCC was created to fight economic and financial crimes, not to interfere with people's religious beliefs or personal opinions. Since when did expressing or discussing religious views become part of the EFCC's job?
Nigeria is a country where freedom of thought, conscience, and religion should be protected. No one should feel threatened because of their beliefs or the opinions they express. And if you think this is a false allegation, we can go to court.
We must continue to speak up for justice, accountability, and the rights of every citizen. Today it may be me; tomorrow it could be someone else.

Mrs Remi Tinubu said the burden on the government is huge. So she is urging Burna Boy, Asake, Rema, Davido, Wizkid & others to use the money from entertainment to do the work of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
That way, Bola Tinubu can save enough money for the City Boys & campaign buses. Remi can afford more cars for APC women leaders as well. I see the wisdom in her passionate appeal.
OluRemi is a smart investor. Maybe she will give them tax reprieve? LET THE POOR BREATHE!
7. The tone of your tweet conveyed unusual hostility and contempt towards Mr. Peter Obi.
Are Nigerians to conclude that this treatment is politically motivated and reflective of a broader strategy to weaken a major opposition contender ahead of the next general election?
8. You further threatened to direct FAAN to take unspecified action against Mr. Obi.
Are you the accuser, the investigator, the judge, and the executioner in the same matter?
As Minister of Aviation, are you now positioning yourself as the law itself?
Mr Keyamo, are you the Law?
Conclusion
This issue goes far beyond a clamped vehicle. It concerns equal treatment under the law, the security of opposition figures, the neutrality of state institutions, and the standards expected in a constitutional democracy.
Nigerians deserve answers to these questions.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Spokesperson, Peter Obi Media Office
As a member of the team that accompanied His Excellency @PeterObi to the Abuja airport on Saturday, July 4, I can state categorically that he does not have a police officer as his driver in Abuja. Therefore, if airport CCTV captured a police officer entering the driver’s seat of a vehicle, that vehicle could not have been Mr. Obi’s.
It is also important to note that Mr. Obi travels through as many as ten Nigerian airports every week. Over time, there have been several acts of hostility directed at him and members of his team by airport personnel across different locations.
Based on the account shared by the Honorable Minister, it is clear that the incident Mr. Obi referenced during his interview with @Chude did not occur on the date or at the airport cited by the Minister. They are plainly two different incidents.
Justin Ijeh, the National Media and Publicity Secretary, OK Movement wrote:
So…
Minister, Senator Engineer David Nweze Umahi, CON you threw an open challenge to the OBidient movement when you said you would debate ‘any of them’.
Well…good sir, challenge accepted!!
I, Justin Ijeh, citizen of the federal republic, a spokesperson of the movement, promoter and advocate of good governance and a better Nigeria, will debate you.
I will defend the track record of HE Mr. Peter Obi which you have attempted to impugn with lies and distortions.
I will do this with facts and figures and documented evidence of his performance as governor of Anambara state…
And I will take YOU to task on YOUR record in public office, from your time as governor to date….as well as on the record of the administration in which you currently serve as minister, again…with facts, figures and documented evidence of my assertion that it has been a colossal failure, based on standard metrics of measuring success and effectiveness in public administration.
There will be no mud slinging, no talking down on anyone…we will focus purely on the ISSUES OF GOVERNANCE - as it should be.
Arise News, Vimbai, kindly draw the good ministers attention and let him know that his challenge has been accepted.
I will await details of date , place and time.
The clock is ticking…
Let’s do it.
Ladies and gentlemen, I appreciate the transparency this situation has garnered. However, let's review the statements made by the minister who is also a SAN.
- The vehicle arrived at 20:28.
- The driver parked at 20:30.
- The driver returned to retrieve an item from the vehicle at 20:32.
- He returned two minutes later, at 20:34, to find the vehicle clamped.
The total duration of this activity was approximately SIX MINUTES, which is within the TEN MINUTES allowance for passenger activities at Heathrow Airport.
Now, let's consider the information the minister did not disclose to the public.
- The precise time Peter Obi's vehicle was clamped.
- The maximum permissible time for passengers to disembark from their vehicle before a violation occurs.
It would be beneficial to obtain answers to these questions and potentially commission an independent investigation by joint reputable institutions, each nominated by the minister, Peter Obi, and the CSO, to examine the authentic CCTV footage to ascertain the exact sequence of events for what exactly happened for public clarity.
Oga Festus, come on man. You're the Minister of Aviation with all those fancy titles SAN, CON, whatever, and this is the best you've got?
1: Your "evidence" is straight trash.
Dropping blurry, grainy CCTV footage that looks like it was shot on a 2005 flip phone. It's 2026, bro. Your airport cameras are garbage. I watched the clips: screen-recorded monitor with glare, reflections, and UI junk everywhere.
2: That "30 minutes unattended" claim is exaggerated bullshit.
You claimed it was parked for a huge security risk. But your videos are one 6-minute segment from around 20:28 to 20:34, and another short one jumping to 21:04. Where's the rest of the footage? You conveniently cut around the clamping moment? The timeline doesn't add up to your dramatic story at all.
3: "Almost blocking the entrance" and the selective clamping lie
The blurry shots show other cars around in the drop-off zone. Why only this one got clamped? Obi questioned the selective treatment, why only his when others were left untouched. You twisted it into him lying about "other offenders." Driver was a uniformed policeman. One phone call from Obi identifying himself, and the car gets released immediately. But now it's "influence peddling"?
4: You're the one playing dirty
The airport authorities had already let it go, yet you as Minister personally revive it for this public drama. Then you demand a full public apology to the staff plus ₦25k fine, or else "directives" from you. Over a parking issue? This isn't justice or "moral duty." It's pure petty political score-settling. Fix actual airport problems instead of chasing opposition over pocket change that was already waived.
Your evidence is weak, the spin is obvious, and the whole thing reeks of desperation. Better luck next time, Minister. This roast writes itself.
The Disheartening Humiliation of Prof. Aghaji
Every day in this country, we find ourselves in a bizarre situation that we find difficult to understand: where we are and how we got to this uncivilised behaviour and rascality. Worse still, when you try to bring these abnormalities to the attention of those concerned, they resort to abuse instead of appreciation.
Just this morning, my attention was drawn to the disrespectful and humiliating circumstances surrounding the apprehension of Professor Martin Aghaji, a distinguished 74-year-old medical expert. This man was not invited, nor was any direct contact made with him. Instead, they invaded his home at Independent Layout, Enugu, in the dead of the night, at 2 a.m., to arrest him in front of his visiting daughter.
As an internationally recognised cardiothoracic surgeon, esteemed academic, and elder statesman, Professor Aghaji warrants a considerable degree of respect, both because of his advanced age and his substantial contributions to our nation. More importantly, however, every Nigerian, irrespective of status or profession, deserves to be treated with dignity and in accordance with the rule of law. After the humiliation of breaking into his house and whisking him away from Enugu to Lagos for three days, all he got was, “Sorry, we made a mistake.”
The public outcry concerning the state’s handling of Professor Aghaji’s case highlights a wider conflict between the actions of state security agencies and the imperative to safeguard professional integrity and individual dignity. Such conduct directed at a 74-year-old might not only exacerbate the critical “brain drain” but also severely damage the country’s already precarious healthcare infrastructure.
This incident brings to mind the similar mistreatment of a medical practitioner in Akwa Ibom, which prompted the Nigeria Medical Association to consider a nationwide strike. Fortunately, due to prompt intervention, a formal public apology was issued to the affected doctor.
The practice of treating highly regarded, ethical professionals - and indeed any Nigerian - like common criminals sets a dangerous precedent that undermines the rule of law across all sectors. Therefore, we must conduct ourselves with civility in the discharge of our public duties. A superior and renewed Nigeria is indeed POssible. -PO
@NigeriaStories This statement if made by the former first outrightly shows she was out of touch with her husband's government. Otherwise this is another attempt at image laundering of a dead man who might even be shocked to hear this statement.
On the 7th of July, 2026, my dear brother @Peter4Nigeria and I attended my adopted father’s birthday. Yes, na me adopt am. 😄
Here is the backstory.
When I was abducted by the Nigerian Army and later handed over to the DSS after three unbearable days in military custody, my fourth day at the DSS.
The DSS had begun their investigation and asked me to write my statement, which I did according to the investigators’ instructions. After that, it was time for my audio-visual statement, where they needed to record both my voice and video.
For that process, I requested the presence of my lawyer.
At that moment, I couldn’t remember my lawyer, Barr. Femi Balogun’s phone number offhand, but I could remember my brother Randy Peter’s number. So I asked the DSS officers to call him.
Because they needed someone who could arrive within 30 minutes, I told them to go ahead and contact Peter.
The moment Peter heard my voice, I could hear the joy and relief in his voice. I immediately told him that I needed a lawyer to come with him.
He simply said, “Okay, I’m coming.”
In less than 30 minutes, he arrived—with Professor @SamAmadi .
I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Professor Sam Amadi was someone I had only seen on television and read about on X. The moment I saw him, my confidence returned. Deep down, I felt that I was going to regain my freedom.
Professor assured me that Nigerians were standing with me.
Meanwhile, my friend and lawyer, Barr. Femi Balogun @femibalogun11 , had been working tirelessly from the very first day of my abduction, writing to the relevant security agencies and doing everything legally possible to secure my release.
I’ll save the rest of the story for another day.
For now, I simply want to say:
Thank you, Professor Sam Amadi, for showing up for me when it mattered the most.
And happy birthday, sir.
As your adopted son, I will make you proud someday.

I watched with disappointment the recent interview granted by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to Channels Television on Monday.
After a prolonged absence from public discourse, one would have expected that time away might have sharpened Senator Sheriff’s judgment. Regrettably, that does not appear to be the case.
In the interview, the former governor claimed that Peter Obi cannot command sizeable support in Northern Nigeria. It is curious that he has appointed himself spokesperson for the Northern masses. For the record, in his first outing on the presidential ballot, Mr. Obi secured approximately 2.8 million votes in the region — a remarkable achievement that cannot be dismissed lightly.
Given the current national hardships, the widespread consensus on the failure of the APC administration, and the addition of a strong Northern figure to the ticket who previously garnered 1.45 million votes in the region, the OK ticket remains a formidable force in Northern politics.
Even more surprising was Senator Sheriff’s assertion that the people of Kano would not vote for Mr. Obi. Let me state clearly: the good people of Kano are neither bigoted nor xenophobic. They have consistently demonstrated strong trust in the Kwankwasiyya movement and will support any credible ticket presented under its banner.
I respectfully advise Senator Sheriff that, in future national television appearances, he would do better to speak to the serious insecurity and humanitarian challenges facing his home state, rather than making divisive and poorly considered remarks.
The OK ticket currently represents the best opportunity for Nigerians to reset the country and place it on a path of competence, unity, and progress. - RMK
